Originally from the Herefordshire English county, it is the great western and southern USA rangers race, where it was imported for the first time in the early ‘800.
It is one of the most important world meat races (in the USA it is one of the most represented meat races). In Italy it is not bred.
Hereford meat is very juicy, sweet, nourishing and high in calories. Fibers have got a fine texture, the fat is evenly distributed.
